La Terrazza is a truly world-class Italian restaurant. It was recently recognized with an international "Ospitalita Italiana Award" and regularly hosts travelling celebrities. The restaurant exudes understated elegance, yet is reasonably priced for the Vancouver market. It's a "if you know, you know" kind of place. The consistently excellent dining experience my wife and I had over several years made it our choice for our wedding reception - a fabulous experience. Following that, my professional association holds events there in one of the private rooms every few months. We used to hold events at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, the Sutton Place Hotel, etc., and were quite happy with those places; the La Terrazza experience exceeds even those, which is considerable praise given how good those venues are.

Very fresh salads. The steak is cooked to perfection and the tiramisu is paired nicely with hot tea. Service is extremely attentive. This place is a must-visit if you’re crazy about wine- they have their whole thick wine menu. Classic upscale Italian dining.

Coming from an Italian family where food is life and high quality of food is key, eating Italian food elsewhere is always a toss. Our dinner was nothing short of amazing. The pasta sauce was authentic and delicious -a beautiful hearty meat sauce- one of the best we’ve ever had (even comparing to Italy). Chicken entree melts in your mouth with a beautiful cream sauce that was light and flavourful. And my personal favourite- the salad! A twist on a ceasar salad with toasted pecans, delicious sliced figs and bacon (or salami) can’t remember which lol was just cleaning the plate.

La Terraza is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality like a Family. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, perfect for a relaxing meal. The food is outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. One of our favourite was the Lobster,Wagyu and the Rib Eye dish. Every dish feels like a celebration of quality and care. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and you can tell the staff truly take pride in what they do, specially Mr Genaro and Mr Grewal with lots of love and care. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Highly recommended from the heart!

The service was really great, starting from when we arrived at the place with the host and continuing with our server, Fabio. The place is very beautiful and romantic, exactly what we were looking for on our wedding anniversary night. I was very impressed by their huge list of wines; it is very hard to decide. (They have super expensive ones but a few affordable ones less than 100.) For the plates. They were all really tasty. Our favourite was the Applewood smoked cheddar risotto, which is listed as a side but is a full plate. It was really creamy and delicious. The Prawn Agli Olio was also really good and had a good amount of prawn. It was only a bit spicier than we expected. As we didn’t know the size of the side of risotto, we also ended up ordering the Parmigiano-Reggiano fries and aioli, which were also good. The Torta D'amore dessert was divine.

“An Amazing Christmas Experience!” I discovered this restaurant on social media, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Every dish was unique and absolutely delicious. If you’re a fan of Italian cuisine, this place is a must-visit! I’ll definitely come back again and bring my friends along. On top of that, their service was excellent—friendly and attentive. Totally worth every penny!

La Terrazza is the type of dining experience that makes you want to come back again and again! The service is excellent, the ambiance is beautiful and the meals are delicious. The wine list is extensive and Teresa is so knowledgeable about wine that you will appreciate her suggestions. The staff are very accommodating and know the menu well. Thank you! We will be back.
